My name is Paul Reinig and I am passionate about DANCE. I offer my energy and provide the music—and you can come and dance—for fun, exercise, and inner transformation!

I love to dance so very much because when I do, I am in my body. When I’m dancing, I am home with myself and that is bliss. That is joy. That is life. To be at home with me, in me, present. Dancing is a wonderful way to create this safe place within yourself. Dancing and the feeling of the music and all the physical movement brings joy because it brings you home to who you really are.

This isn’t just a means to exercise and have fun, or to relieve stress. While it is indeed all these things, it is also an approach to inner transformation. New Energy Dance Expression is a unique and viable way to free yourself of unwanted issues that may have been bothering you all your life. It is not a substitute for therapy and I am not a licensed counselor. However, unlike the conventional pounding pillow therapies, or lying on a couch talking about your issues, or using hypnotism, or whatever, all in an attempt to get to the bottom of your issues as a means of healing, there is an alternative.

You can DANCE them out by allowing yourself to be expressed in ways that you would never have allowed yourself to do before. Through movement you unlock your emotions, and through connecting with the compassionate loving Source Energy within you, you can embrace these emotions, causing them to heal. You tell yourself how beautiful and loving you are, how awesome you are, how scrumptious, luscious, and radiant you are. In other words, you give yourself the love that you have been trying to find outside yourself but that no one has ever really been able to give to you in a deeply fulfilling way. You become the Source of this love. That results in true, lasting healing.

Also, New Energy Dance Expression (NEDE) is not an experience where everyone does the same routine, such as in martial arts, yoga, or even other dance styles. In NEDE you allow yourself to move exactly the way your body is telling you it wants to move. In this way, you are giving it the freedom to be fully expressed without any restrictions. This is in fact the reason it has such healing potential, because unlike most every other aspect of our life where we have the tendency to keep ourselves under control according to social mores, in NEDE you’re allowed to be absolutely free in your desire to express.

If you could get even a small taste of the enjoyment and fulfillment you would experience from allowing yourself to be child-like again, if only for a few hours a week, you would be astonished. I know. Just as the caterpillar becomes a butterfly, you can transform your life by making a simple choice to return to innocence and self-expression.
